I often get asked how I work, so I thought I should share how exactly I receive messages from spirits as a Psychic Medium.

In a way, I view myself as an antenna of sorts. Like how a TV gathers signals which turn into something we can understand, Angels and Spirit send me messages which I am able to convey to you. I believe the role of a Psychic Medium is to connect you with your Angels and loved ones in a peaceful and loving manner.

As I have multiple ways of connecting to spirit and receiving these messages, I have broken this page down into sections. 

Readings

I am very lucky as a reader that many people who have NEVER had a reading before in their life choose me to connect them with spirit. However, this does tend to lead to the question “how did you know all that?” If you are curious about how I am getting these messages, I hope to ease your mind by explaining the process. 

In my readings, I will have an oracle deck with me, often an Archangel Michael one. I do shuffle and pull cards from this, however, I do not use these cards to ‘give’ the reading. The act of shuffling the cards allows me to quiet my mind, slipping into a place where I am open to receiving messages from spirit.

Within my mind, I reach out and ask for a connection between you and your Guardian Angel. As I continue to shuffle, I let my right-side brain go into a meditative state, which allows my connection with Spirit to take place. It’s a bit like how a dolphin will relax half of its brain to sleep while the other is aware.

When I get a ringing in my ears I know a connection has been made. This is also the time when I will start to feel any physical pain or be shown any issue of the sitter. For example, if you have a sore right knee, I’ll start to feel pain in my right knee. I believe they give me these signs to show that I am connected to the correct Angel. Once the sitter has confirmed that I am picking up on the correct information we can move further into the reading.

At this point, I will place three cards facedown on the table. I do not turn these cards over until the end of your reading. I do this to see if the messages on the cards match the messages you have received in the reading as further confirmation.

Before the reading starts, I will ask if you are wanting to know more about your future or connect with a passed loved one. If you are wanting to know more about your future, including career, love and health, I will go straight to your Guardian Angel. They have your Book of Life and know what it is you wish to do within this lifetime. I believe that you have spent a long time before coming here to make sure all your desires and dreams are written in this book. Your Angel is here to keep you focused and on track with this, which is why so many people have readings every 6 to 12 months to connect with their Angel and confirm their progress.

If you are hoping for a loved one to visit I cannot control who comes or doesn’t come into a reading. I wish there was a way I could call ahead and book them in, but unfortunately, I can’t. To get the best chance of having your loved one come through, I suggest thinking of this person and asking them to attend the reading. Sometimes sitters even bring something of their loved ones with them for me to hold onto during in-person readings, but this isn’t necessary.

Once I am connected I will then be able to pass on messages using different Clair Senses:

• I am very lucky as I am able to ‘see‘. On a good day, I will see spirit walk in behind you. On other days, I may be receiving images within my mind’s eye as to what your angels or loved ones want you to know. They use a variety of ways to help me ‘see’, such as using my own memories. Sometimes I see different places I have been and know, or they might use TV shows or Movies to get the messages across.

• I also love to ‘hear‘ from the Angels and Spirit. They talk to me, give me phrases, sentences, or words to pass on the messages. I’m also lucky to be sung to, and I love it when they sing me song titles or choruses.

• I can ‘taste‘. While I have received some delightful tastes, I have also had some not so wonderful. I will get a very sour, bitter taste in my mouth if someone around you is not being truthful for example.

• I can also ‘smell‘ and getting a whiff of grandma’s scones or cookies is always a delight. A flood of floral scents or perfume is also a joy to pass on. When you get a smell of cigar smoke or bad personal odours – not so much.

I will pass on everything I receive, and while it might not make sense to me, 9 times out of 10 it has meaning to the sitter. 

Roses are a symbol of love

I receive many symbols that I do understand the meaning of, such as a red rose as a sign of love. When I taste a metallic taste in my mouth and see needles taking blood, that means a health issue such as cancer. I also see a lot of sacred symbols to allow me to share who is around at the time of the reading.

Sometimes the messages don’t always make sense to me, but as this is not my reading I do not try to understand or make it into a story. I just give you what I get shown and more often than not the seemingly ‘random’ sign was highly personalised or a part of an inside joke.

I will admit that sometimes the messages may not make sense on the day of the reading, so please just allow them to be given to you, as most times you will later find out the meaning with an ‘ah-ha’ moment. Trust that the Angels will pass on the messages meant for your highest good. I will never ask spirit when a person will leave this place, as I only ask positive and uplifting questions to lead you to your ideal life. 

As there are a few differences between having an In-Person reading and having a reading via distance, I thought I should list these.
