Another Year is gone, so what have we learnt?

Every year we get excited about all the festive events and time spent with family and friends during our holidays. I love this time of year, but it also a great time to take a moment, be kind to yourself and look at how far you have come in the past 12 months.

If you are like me, you may have once again been taken on a rollercoaster of near-death experiences. I am talking about my husband’s heart attack a few months ago. Happy to report he is doing well, and the new changes in our life have benefited all of us. I tell him it was a drastic lesson for us to keep on track – we might joke about it, but it was.

I always like to look at what the rules are for our lives as spiritual beings having a human existence. We have an idea of some of them, as our souls are all provided with a body. We may not like our body, our gender, our physical abilities within our body, or even our health – but there is one thing you can take away – we all only get one. We are the one person who is responsible for our bodies – as my husband’s heart attack brought back to us loud and clear.

Each day we are provided with lessons. They may be great fun exciting lessons, or they may be hard to swallow. It is how we react and learn from these lessons, that helps us to grow. If we make good choices, our spiritual pathway becomes clearer, and our world is a place of light and love.

If we choose to ignore the lesson (and I think we have all done this), we do not skip the lesson, it comes back to us again and again, until we learn. Every time the lesson returns to us, it is harder and harder. So please take the time to ask, ‘what I have learnt from this experience and what was my lesson today? Trust me, it makes it easier to learn and release. It makes it easier to look for the lesson and remove some of the emotional attachment, so you don’t have to go through such harsh emotions again and again.

We will continue to have lessons every day we are here, and it’s why we came to Earth – to learn and embrace these lessons.

Beautiful Angel

A big tip I can give you, as a priority, is to learn self-love. Invite your angels or spirit helpers into your life. Learn to be kind to yourself and learn to make good choices that will make you and your environment a better place. Learn to live in the now. You can make changes in the now, so don’t live in the past, as this causes sadness, hurt and trauma. Do not live too much into the future, as this may bring anxiety and stress. Remember you can make good choices in the present.

We all have the answers we need for this life within us. However, you may need to spend some time with tools and skills to find the answers. 2023 will be an exciting year for all of us, as we will all be given lessons. The trick is to learn the lesson, so you don’t have to repeat it and make good choices.

Enjoy the last month of 2022. Take the time to look at how far you have come and all the amazing things you have completed and learnt. Reflect on all that you have released and no longer hang on to. This will be the best ‘present’ you can give yourself this Christmas. The gift of knowledge of how powerful you truly are and how no one can take this from you.

Go forward into 2023 in a positive mindset and with lots of love and care for your soul, mind, and body.
