Tree of Life

How many of you had a Christmas tree in your home this year? It could have been any size or colour. I look at my tree as – yes the meaning of Christmas, but it is also the Tree of Life. I am sure you may have seen the “tree of life” in jewellery, decorations and even in store names. How many of us truly understand what the tree of life represents? I thought to delve in a little bit deeper and share my thoughts this season.

Our Christmas tree and Rudolph

As we have had this connection of a beautiful tree within our home over the last 30 days these ideas might allow you to sit in awe of your decorated Christmas tree for a few more days and think about you. How you are beautiful, just as your tree is. How you are unique, just as your tree is, and what you are wanting to manifest in the coming year.

I would love for you to see this beautiful symbol as your own personal and spiritual development as I do. Just as the tree is beautiful so are you. It is also as unique and individual as you are as well. I would like you to see the strength of the tree in the trunk and branches. If your tree is like mine, every year I wonderful if it will still be beautiful as it loses so many needles and has a slight lean to the left, but I am always amazed at how beautiful it is after we finish decorating it as a family.

Please sit for a moment in from of this tree, close your eyes and visualise yourself being courageous, unique, beautiful, growing, glowing just as your Christmas tree is. You are as strong as that tree, or any of your favourite trees outside.

Let’s look at a tree. A tree may have been planted with care. Given fertiliser and lots of water to start of its journey. Just as many of us where – our parents planned or cared for us when within the womb.

The tree may have self-seeded, and it is up against all the elements. It really doesn’t have idea if it will flourish or wither. It just must get on with the job of growing. This too might have been some peoples start in life. Please remember though we all started as a seed, a thought an intention – and just like the tree we started our journey. Our growth.

The tree starts by deep seedings its roots into Earth Mother and then reaches up with its branches to the heaven to form a full connection.

Tree of Life made with crystals and wire

The tree must simply Trust and Believe. Trust that it will receive all the water, sunshine, and goodness it needs to grow strong. Belief that it is in the right place at the right time, so that when Divine Timing will come along the tree is in the perfect place. It has been working hard, focusing on its growth.

In a way this is all how we start out. A tiny seed that will grow into an amazing spiritual being. We must be open. We must learn to trust and believe so our lives will continue to flourish just as the tree does.

Sometimes our life path isn’t easy, just as the tree must work hard to push it roots through the layers of soil, rock, shell and crystal to reach down deep into Earth Mother for substance and connection so do we. We have to make the time to learn to be still. To live in the now and to trust and believe that we have got this, and when we slip up it will be ok, as we are the ones in charge of our destiny. We can manifest what we want in this world through being grateful, positive and action.

So please sit with your Christmas tree for a little while and look a little deeper. See the scars of years of storage and one month of love within its branches. Look at the decorations, some I am sure have very special memories attached, all showing you your life journey to be remember and enjoyed.

Before you take off the decorations, watch and enjoy the twinkle light, like your charka energy within you. Look to see what colours stand out as the most used to decorate your tree this year. Is there a message in that?

  • White – Pure connection and growth

  • Purple – Spiritual Eye seeing what is in front of you with ease

  • Blue – Speaking up for yourself or others

  • Green – Time to heal or to step up to help others

  • Yellow – New beginnings or a new life

  • Orange – Time to allow yourself to be happy. New love for self or in a partner

  • Red – Feeling stable and secure.

Have fun taking down your tree, please do not think of it as a chore, and remember your connection to the tree of life in the new year and start to find your way for 2023.

Talk to your angels and connect in as simply as a tree does. Draw the connection up from your feet (roots) and allow the pure connection to flow through you in uplifting and positive ways. Remember the tree always stays in the NOW. It might think about the seasons ahead, but it lives in the now and never in the past. Just breath as the tree does, in deeply and slowly. Allow yourself to grow this year. Become wiser, look to the knowledge and new experiences in your life. Live. This is how you and your “Tree of Life” will remain forever strong and be able to draw all that it needs from the Heavens and Earth.
