Candles! Rituals and Scrying
Angels and our loved ones can see the flames of the candles better than any other light is not only my own belief but of many spiritual and religious traditions. Of course, it has not been scientifically proven, but we will give them time to catch up. I mean they are still excited to learn that energy never dies, but we have understood this forever.
When the beautiful candles and or flames from an open fire flicker it represents a spiritual connection. Let’s face it fire is mesmerising to watch. It makes you get lost in its beauty. You tend to feel very calm around a campfire, or the light of a candle.
Candlelight in my mind is the illumination and/or symbols of light, love, and light – blessings in our own lives. They help us to relax. They help us set the mood. I will always have a candle lit when I wish to connect and communicate with my angels and loved ones. I feel that they are drawn into the flame. Drawn by the calmness of the flame, as we sit and spend time opening our minds to connect to their realm.
When you think about candlelight, it makes sense, as we discovered in recent weather events, the flame was our primary source of light. It was relaxing to sit in this warm and welcoming light. With the candle’s gentle flicker, it was very welcoming. It made me feel safe. I like to sit within this type of calming light source than any other. Think how you feel as you sit in front of an open fire, in nature as you gaze into the flames, and how you feel calm and can look deeper to see the messages.
I have loved to use my scrying candle to ask questions of my loved ones. Whenever my grandfather is in the room, I always know as he makes the flame double in size. I always see this flickering flame to know that spirit is with me as well as passing on the message. I was always taught that a steady light of a candle is seen as an invitation to communicate with your loved ones, angels or spiritual team. It brings me great peace to light a candle for a loved one, in memory or to connect. It is a very special feeling and moment.
Candles and the spirit world have always been a ritual that I have favoured and will follow always. It makes me feel safe. It makes me feel happy. So, I thought to add some basics about scrying with flame. When you are scrying with a candle, check your environment. Turn off all fans, or close windows that may allow a breeze to enter. You want your flame to move when you ask questions.
Always put yourself in a bubble of golden protection. Call on any Archangel or Ascended Master to be with you to always keep you in love in light (blessings). You only want positive energy within your life for your own highest good. It is also good to have set your intention before you begin to scry with your candle flame. Say it out loud, or in your mind. Call on your angels and or loved ones. They are always listening and love you.
When a candle flame is mostly blue this means that spirit is close to you or listening to your words or prayers.
When the flames move, take note of in which direction. You may be given directions from your spiritual team, angel or loved ones. You can ask for a yes or no response and ask the flame to move either north, south, east, or west for your reply. Use the flame as a pendulum to receive answers.
Watch the flame and or listen to any noises from the flame. A popping or crackling can let you know they are close by.
When the flame burns brightly or increases in length know that spirit is with you, or some say that what you are asking about is granted.
When I have a high flame, I know I have the loved one I requested is with me.
If your flame is always small, it may be a message from your loved ones and or angels that your energy is low. You need to be patient with answers coming to you.
You will want your loved ones, angels, and spiritual team to be with you. A bright flame will show you this. That they are close to you.
Your loved ones can send you a message of love by showing the flame to you in the shape of a heart.
If two flames are shown, or a dual flame occurs this is showing you that you have two loved ones with you.
Look at the smoke coming from the flame. Black may be seen as a negative reply or energy and white smoke represents good luck and positivity.
Blue flame shows you that spirit is with you. It might be an angel, loved one, or your spiritual team.
A yellow or red in colour flame is energy that may appear if you or your loved one is emotional, with grief, passion or anger.
If you can see a lot of white in the flame this will be shown to you when you are gifted peace, release, healing, or prosperity.
If you see a black flame, this is negative energy. Always put yourself in a golden bubble of protection and ask Archangel Michael to always be with you.
Have fun connecting in to the spiritual realm. Remember anything that doesn’t feel good, or negative is not a good thing. This is when you stop and do your protection. I have never had a bad experience with my spiritual team, angels or loved ones when I use any type of scrying. They love us and want us to know they are always with us.
