Earth Star Chakra
Earth Star Chakra – colour representative is brown or black, earthy colours
Approximately 30 centimetres below your feet you can find the Earth Star Chakra. Some refer to is as “The daughter of the Earth” as this is the Sanskrit meaning. As the name suggests it helps you with your connection to Earth and helps you to become grounded.
Some also call it the “super root” as it is our “anchor” for both the physical and the spiritual world. When the Earth Star is cleansed and clear it forms the complete energetic structure that starts from ground up to the highest cosmic gateway energy centre. When properly aligned the energies from the core of Earth Mother will connect grounding and nourishing you with energy. By keeping this chakra in good shape, you will reach your spiritual goals here on earth.
This chakra can deeply ground us. It is a great one to have working at its highest level, especially for any one prone to anxiety or stress.
At the highest level, the Earth Star chakra:
is the grounding point of the entire chakra system.
connects you to all of humanity.
connects us to the past.
is dark brown or black in colour.
This gives us the element of prosperity and abundance. If your Earth Star chakra is blocked or sluggish it limits your ability to live a full abundant and prosperous life.
Is your Earth Star Chakra blocked?
If you have ever felt any of the following please consider doing the cleansing exercise written out below.
Vague, disconnected, and disoriented.
Spaced out, especially when doing meditation or other forms of spiritual connection.
Full of ideas but either can’t decide or can’t follow anything through from concept to completion.
Don’t hold healings, or chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture treatments etc for more than a few hours before the good results all dissipate.
Feel like you are exhausted even after a good night’s sleep.
Slow to heal.
Can’t seem to work out who you are or what you want.
If you answered yes to any of these, you could be experiencing blocked foot chakras. On the underside of your foot, in your instep, is a large energy centre known as your foot chakra. This chakra works strongly to earth your base chakra. When the chakra is open, activated and grounded it also helps balance and energise all other chakras in the body.
Earthing
You can unblock and activate the chakras in your feet.
Take a large tub of warm water and place several smooth stones or tumbled crystals in the bottom. Place your bare feet in the water and roll your feet over the stones until they feel energised. – love working with crystals always have my chakra crystals on hand but allow yourself to be guided to the perfect crystal for the task.
Dry your feet and then stand barefoot upon the earth. Look down at your feet and visualise the chakra in the sole of your foot spinning and opening and energetically connecting into the energy of the Earth. Really allow yourself to feel this connection.
Shake the tension out of your hands, loosen your shoulders and give your body a good energetic shake out.
Now raise your arms up to the sky and draw that energy of the sun and the moon and the stars down in through your hands and the top of your head.
Draw the energy of the earth up through your feet and your base chakra. Feel strong like a well-grounded tree, roots deep down into the earth.
Have all the energy meet at your heart; healing, balancing, and empowering your entire body.
Finally, nurture and nourish your foot chakras and help anchor that grounded energy by rubbing a few drops of pure sesame oil into the soles of your feet. Sesame oil also helps us open to abundance and to be comfortable with flow and positive manifestation.
Meditation
Do a mediation that you can see all of your body being connected from the earth star chakra up to the crown chakras and beyond by a golden cord. See the cord running through your cleansed and clear chakras and being anchored back down at Earth.
Crystals
Wear dark brown or black crystals – black tourmaline, obsidian, or onyx to assist with clearing your Earth Star. Use your intuition to select the perfect crystal for the cleansing and clearing of this chakra. Some are called to use Aqua quartz due to the Earth being made up mostly of water. Set the intention of clearing and connecting with the Earth Star chakra when placing the crystal within your pocket or on your body.
