October and the thinning of the veil

I love October here in Australia. Spring is in the air; we are outside more, enjoying BBQs and swimming, plus it is the month of Halloween! I used to watch all the old TV shows, Bewitched and the Brady Bunch as a kid and wished Australia would celebrate Halloween over here. To me it looks like fun. Dressing up, parties and lots of lollies! I never liked the scary side of Halloween though, as I was not taught to fear spirit or angels. I was always taught to protect and attract good things into my life.

My Nanna told us of the significance of Halloween in England. Why it was so special, and the reason behind the costumes and fear to try to hide from the “spirits”, but it wasn’t until I was much older that I now understand why I always loved this holiday or time of celebration. It has to do with the time of the year when the “veil” between us and the spirit world is so thin that we can easily sense their presence.

We know there are different dimensions. Some people refer to them as worlds. From the middle of October – the 15th all the way through to the 10th of November the two worlds can easily connect. Halloween is smack bang in the middle of this time, so this is when the connection is the easiest.

When I read for people in this time frame I find that I have a great connection. The message of love and answers for the ones left behind seem to come through with ease. I am given words; phrases, visions and enjoy the outcomes for most of these readings. If you are wanting to connect with a loved one that has crossed over it’s at this time of year you book your medium.

It is also a great time for me to connect with my higher self. This includes my wonderful guardian angels and my team of Angels I work with to grow and understand more about myself and the world around me. I find my meditations take me deeper and my questions are answered with ease. It is odd, as I have always made my biggest purchases within this time frame. My new car or home and have followed my intuition to find the best for me.

This is not a scary time. If you are in a good, highly positive place and always remember to invite good energy and protection into your home and life you will always look forward to this special time of year.

Did you know that on November the 1st is known as All Hallows Day and on November the 2nd we celebrate all soul’s day! Two very special Holy holidays! I always thought of Halloween, or as some know it as All Hallows Eve, as Christmas Eve, the start of something special! I cannot think these holy days are placed here in the calendar by a coincidence. It would have been because so many people felt their loved ones connect with them while the veil is at its thinnest.

So, what is the veil? When I think of a veil I think of a wedding veil. It is a sheer or transparent material that gives us a barrier, but we can easily “see through”. As we know we can always connect with our Angels and loved ones, but the barrier of the veil can sometimes make this seem difficult. We must ask, trust, and believe. When the Veil is ‘lifted’ or ‘thinned’ at this time of year we can feel and easily trust what is shown to us. We may not physically “see” spirit, some people might but many of us only feel their presence. You might even want to learn more about this time of year. I really enjoy different books on the subject.

How does this occur? These signs are so much stronger due to the energy. You may suddenly smell your loved one scent. You may recall a memory. You may feel that they are close or even experience their touch. A butterfly kiss on your cheek, a stroke of your hair. It is a very special time for everyone in the world if you are willing to trust and believe.

So Happy Halloween. Enjoy the raised vibration. The sense of fun, joy, love, and protection. Talk to your loved ones that have left us and ask them for a sign. Be open to receiving a message at this special time.
